Custom Medical Vans

The Madera County Public Health Department contracted Performance Trailers, inc. to build two custom medical vans that will be used to easily be dispatched to remote areas and sent out to public gatherings, to deliver medical services such as giving shots and caring to low-income patients.

Supply and install (1) electric DC operated awning
  • Locate at passenger side approximately 16’ long x 9’ projection
  • All switches and controls to be at side door location interior
Supply and install Vending window at wall area behind sliding door
  • Approximate size is 28” wide x 24” height
  • Sliding glass with screen option / screen / glass to be removable
  • Has all weather theft proof (shock hold up) door overlay with lock
    (shock is to hold outer security door up when interior slider window is being used)
Supply and install 5k capacity Tow hitch
  • Includes receiver-style hitch with 2” ball
  • Brake controller at driver area with adjustability for brake bias
  • 7-way spade style wiring receptacle
Supply and install Roof mount Coleman style AC / Heat
  • Component mount controls with forward / rearward facing discharge registers

Supply and install “soft” circular style curtain
  • This will be used for patient privacy/screening
  • Curtain will be ceiling mounted and be able to be drawn back and secured against the wall when not used
Supply and install aluminum cabinet / base module / desk area at interior
  • All drawers and doors for cabinetry to have locking capability with common key
  • (1) desk / receiving area at area behind driver’s seat
  • Includes converting driver’s seat to 180 deg operation to use as desk chair
  • Size of desk approximately 20” x 24”
  • Overhead cabinet for files etc. storage
  • Cabinet base module at passenger side vending window area (locking doors keyed alike)
  • Approximate size 72” long x 30” height with under storage
  • Clinicool Prime 2.5 cu ft Vaccine refrigerator (size 18” wide x 20” deep x 29” height)
  • Includes Data logger for remote temperature monitoring
  • Refrigerator to have option of running off the Inverter system

  • Biohazard container with drop chute undermount (10-gallon size)

  • Supply and install a small hand sink with COLD water

  2. Supply and install (2) 15” color flat screen monitors
    • Mount onto articulating wall brackets store against wall when not in use
    • Client will have final say on bracket type / monitors to be easily removeable from brackets
    • Include wire runs from monitor location to common area
  3. Install shore power connection circuit for power/charge batteries
    • (AC will not work with shore power plugged in)
    • This system is to power unit without a generator running to charge batteries and run inverter
    • 30amp connection RV park inlet
    • 25’ 30amp service cord with 15-amp adapter
    • Automatic transfer switch to prevent distribution panel damage
    • Wiring to/from shore power inlet. Transfer switch and load center
